Vidal Sassoon, the hairstyling pioneer, died today (10 maj) at the age of 84. "Sassoon was one of the original feminists," said Linda Wells, the editor of Allure magazine. In the 1960s, as his career blossomed, Mr. Sassoon's creative, easy-to-style cuts paired perfectly with the fledgling women's liberation movement.
